Hi Jeanne,

Just a note that in reference to “Randolph” surname postings, Appomattox, Virginia was not formed until 1845. I researched this some years ago and found that Appomattox was the name of the home place/plantation of the Randolph family located in Henrico Co., Va.

Hi Jeanne,

You recently completed a merge for Isaac Walker, Jr. (1746-), choosing the Waker Jr surname rather than Walker. The result of that is he is now one of only a very few profiles on the WalkerJr index rather than in the main Walker index.

If you complete merges like this in the future, please go with the surname only and edit to add Jr to the Suffix data field.

Thanks,

Debi

Hi,

I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have yet to hear back from you. I hope you are well.

If I don't hear from you in the next week or so I'll assume you no longer wish to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to rejoin at any time via the G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Kylie :-)

Hi,

The Germany/German Roots Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the list of them. Is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project.

Please respond by email. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi. Can you have a look at Mary Carrie Bolling? Evidence is mounting that she has the wrong parents, most notably because they married after she did. She was the widow Carie at her marriage to John Bolling.

Hi, we have a match on Genesis GED match. I have always been told that part of my maternal line traces back to Thomas Rolfe, so I wonder if this is the connection. My mother had a person-to-person list as recently as 4 years ago, but has misplaced it. My grandmother had ancestors living in Henrico and Halifax Counties in Virginia. I saw that you had a line that goes back to Thomas Rolfe, so I wondered if this is how we connect, My Genesis GEDmatch kit is FK3517687
