Mary Lunsford was born in 1647 in the Tower of London.
On 07 Aug 1649 her father, Sir Thomas Lunsford, was granted a pass for the family to go to Virginia.
On 11 Jan 1653/1654 an order was made for Sir John Thorowgoood to maintain the three children of Sir Thomas Lunsford who married Katherine Nevill, daughter of Dame Elizabeth, now wife of Sir John Thorowgood. The said children, Elizabeth, Phillipa and Mary Lunsford, were carried away by their parents to Virginia and remained there until their parents' demise. They were then sent back to the parish of St Andrew, Holborn.
Mary married Thomas Collier, brewer, on 30 Nov 1665 at Waltham St Lawrence, Berkshire. A son, Thomas was born on 03 Apr 1667 and baptised 22 Apr at Waltham St Lawrence.
