Biography

Kenneth Lunsford, 81,passed away on 18 Mar 2012. He was the son of William and Josephine Lunsford, who predeceased him. "Bill" was also predeceased by his wife Barbara, daughter Kathleen Ann and 3 sisters.

He is survived by two sons, 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson; his twin great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Bill first came to Phoenix in 1932 with his parents. After high school Bill began selling paint and eventually became a painting/drywall contractor. he was a member of the Painters Local Union #86. In 1974 he helped pass the first Arizona restrictions on lead-based paint; and in 1984 he founded the Arizona Chapter of the American Subcontractors Assn.
