(1) On the 6th day, 6th mo., 1755, John Lupton, son of Joseph Lupton of Opeckan, Frederick, Virginia and Sarah Frost, daughter of John Frost of Frederick, Virginia were married at the Opeckan Meeting House.[1] This was the second marriage to take place at the Hopewell MM.
(2) On the 13th day, 6th mo. 1776, John Lupton of the County of Frederick, Colony of Virginia, married to Ann Rees. widow of Henry Rees, deceased, of the same county, at the Hopewell Meeting House, County of Frederick, Colony of Virginia.[2][3]
