DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:

Hi! I "unlocked" this profile (removed PPP) after review by the US Southern Colonies Project's Managed Profiles Team. PPP stands for "project-protected profile" and must be supported by a project as manager. The team does not believe that the profile needs to be either PPP or managed by a project. If you would like the team to reconsider, please fill out the Management Request Form (see the link, here).

Thanks!

This profile appears to no longer meet the criteria for project protection. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Project_Protection

Is there any reason we should continue project protection?

Lacking a response from the profile manager, I'm converting the project box to a sticker and will ask a project Leader to remove PPP.

Luttrell-923 and Luttrell-136 are not ready to be merged because: I am unfamiliar with this family and since the parents appear to be different, I don't feel comfortable merging these two profiles. In order to merge them I had to pick which set of parents to use and I would rather have someone with more knowledge of these people do that. As long as I don't have to pick the parents, I'm good with confirming this match :)
