She passed away in 1827.
Samuel H. Bowlus is a son of George and Ann Catharine (Lyles) Bowlus, natives of Frederick Co., Md and who spent their lives in their native State, with the exception of about six months spent at Zanesville, Ohio, and at another time six months spent in Missouri, returning to their native State, where they resided till their death. She died Feb., 17, 1827.; he died Oct. 27, 1855, aged 65 years. They were the parents of four children, Capt. Samuel H. the only one now surviving.[1]
