Mrs. Martha Mary Perrottet, who died, aged 62, at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital North Sydney, on May 6, after a short illness, was the wife of Mr. T. Perrottet, of Mosman, and sister of Nurse Katherine Lynch, of the Brown Nurses, of Sister Mary Theela, of Mount Carmel, and sister of ex-Superintendent. Lynch, of the Police Department.
Mrs. Perrottet was born at 'The Welcome,' Parkes, and was married in Sydney over 30 years ago, after which she lived in Trangie for some years, and since resided at Randwick and Mosman.
Mrs. Perrottet, who was an exemplary Catholic, and great charity-worker, especially for the Brown Nurses, was attended during her illness by the Rev. Father L Chaize S.M..
Her husband and three children survive. Dr. Frank Perrottet, on active service in the Middle East; Kathleen, of Mosman; and Eileen, who is on the staff of a military hospital in the country.
Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's, North Sydney, by the Rev. Father B. Murphy, S.J.. The remains were interred at Northern Suburbs' Cemetery, where the Rev. Father J. McGlynn recited the prayers at the grave side.
