Biography
Elizabeth Lynde was born in 1741 at Shrewsbury, Worcester, Province of Massachusetts Bay. She married Dr. Elijah Stone and together they had ten children. Elizabeth died on 24 Jul 1830 in Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA
Helpful Research Notes
A couple of research notes: Elizabeth's last name spelling has been seen several different ways but, based on Vital Records, her fathers name is consistently spelled Lynde. Secondly, in the Vital Records for Strewsbury, MA, the marriage date of 4 April 1765 is posted as "intention to marry" where as in Framingham Vital Records it s posted as the marriage date. Additionally; Acknowledge in the same Vital Records have Elizabeth spelled "Elisabeth" & "Elesabeth" .
