posted by cjbellis123 on Ancestry.com: The story has been passed down that Unknown Brubaker was a Carnival worker. It has come from several different sources. It was passed down from Minnie's sister, Jesse Linn (maiden name) that Minnie and Unknown Brubaker dropped off the newborn Clifford at her parent's home and left town. Clifford was raised by his grandparents and his aunt Jessie. This story was also passed down to Harold (Bud) Lynn, son of Clifford and his second wife, Pearl Walker.
