William was born on 12 April 1719 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He was the son of Samuel Lyon and Joanna Weld.[1][2] William was baptised on 19 April 1719 in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.[3]
William married Martha (Knowlton) Lyon (1718-aft.1761) on 26 August 1740 in Middleborough, Massachusetts.[4][5]
