George C Lyons [Lyon] was born about 1891 in Mississippi, United States according to US census information.^[1][2][3]

He was the son of Joseph Lyon and Lucy Ann Lang. After Joseph died, Lucy remarried to Peter Stubbs.

In the 1910 US census, George C Lyon was 19 (born about 1891 in Mississippi). He was living in Smith, Mississippi, with his parents Peter B Stubbs (45) and Lucy A Stubbs (47), and his siblings Lou S Stubbs (20), James A Stubbs (18), William T Stubbs (16), William F Lyon (16), Emma J Stubbs (13), Joe Stubbs (12), Easter E Stubbs (9) and Velma L Stubbs (5).^[1]

Possible record. In 1930 US census, George Lyon (38, born Mississippi) was married to Ruby Lyon (31, Louisiana). They were living in Port Arthur, Jefferson, Texas with daughter Merline Lyon (12, Louisiana).^[2]

In 1940, George C Lyons was 49, widowed, and living in Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas, United States.^[3]
