Biography
Walter Lyon was born on February 24, 1909, in Jackson, Tennessee, to Grace Deliah Cogburn and Richard Turner Lyon. He had one brother, Richard Turner Lyon, Jr. He died on October 18, 1947, in Donelson, Davidson, Tennessee, at the age of 38 in an institution for the feeble-minded. He was buried in Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee with his family.
