Biography
Thomas was born in 1774. He was the son of Gilbert Lyon. He passed away in 1821. He is buried where he lived, on the Lyon Farm, Greenwich.
He married c.1798 to Abigail Mosher, who survived him. Their children are:
- Elisha Lyon b.14 Feb 1799, d. 9 Apr 1889; m. Phebe Brundage
- Mary ("Polly") Lyon, b. ?; married 3 Mar 1826 James McMillan of Greenwich; they had a daughter Elizabeth b.20 Mar 1830, d.16 Oct 1836
- Charles F. Lyon, b. c 1804; m. Mary Louise ___
- Catherine Mosher Lyon, b. 2 Apr 1811, d. 7 Oct 1849; m. Leonard Paulson. They had Leonard Paulson Jr. b. 12 Mar 1846.
- Armenia ? (possibly daughter of Peter); m. ___ Van Antwerp.
