Biography
John A. Lyons was born on May 15, 1833, in Monticello, Maine, his father, Jeremiah, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 30. He married Julia E. Leavitt on July 19, 1859, in Littleton, Maine. They had seven children in 13 years. He died on August 31, 1899, in his hometown at the age of 66.
