The sporting community will deeply sympathise with Mr. William Lyons, of Tattersall's Club, at the untimely death of his eldest son, Mr. Ernest Lyons. The deceased gentleman, who was in his 25th year, was stricken down with pneumonia, from which he succumbed within the space of a few days. He was following his calling at the A.J.C. spring meeting last week, therefore his death was very sudden. [8]
