[1]Voigt was born in 1915. She passed away in 1990. [2]
In 1920, She was living in Springfield, Maine with her father and two of her siblings. Her father was widowed. (Her mother took care of her own father when he had influenza. He lived a month longer than her, but she caught it and died). When her mother died, Voigt was just three years old. On this census, she is five years old.
[3]On the 1930 census, she was living with her grandparents, John and Abbie Lyons. She was 14 at this time. She went to live with her grandparents after she was school age.
She married Clifford Osgood in 1933. [4] She helped Clifford take care of his parents and the farm. She cooked big meals for the hired help and was a great cook. She took care of her mother-in-law after she become sick and stayed in bed for many years, (until her death). She raised four children. They, also, had a store in Carroll that she took care off while my father was working away on construction. Then she and my father went to Florida and spent 17 years together, there, in their retirement years.
Voigt died in 1990 in Lincoln, Maine.
She is buried in the Belden, Cemetery in Prentiss, Maine, with Clifford and his family.
