Biography

James Lytle was a Missourian.

James George Lytle was born 13 November 1873, the son of Job Lytle and Belle (Daniel) Lytle.[1]

He married Mary (Adle) Lytle sometime in 1892; they would have one daughter, Lucille (Lytle) Montgomery, born 10 September 1894 in Nebraska. [2]

The family lived in northern Missouri at least through the early 1920s. [3] [4]

James registered for the World War I draft on September 12, 1918, when he was 45 years old. He was self-described as "Short height, medium build, gray eyes, brown hair." HIs occupation was as a farmer/stockman. [1]

James died 11 Jun 1923 in Amity, DeKalb, Missouri, United States. He was buried in the Amity Cemetery, Camden, DeKalb, Missouri, United States. [5]
