Newsclipping: Charles A. Lytle and Wife Married 51 years today. Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Lytle of DePeyster are today observing the 51st anniversary of their marriage. An anniversary celebration was held this afternoon for Mr. Lytle, aged 90, and his 74 year old wife at the Madill Nursing Home, 506 New York Ave., where they are spending the winter. On Jan. 3 in the year 1900, the former Miss Bessie Fleetham became the bride of Charles Lytle. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents, the John B. Fleethams, DePeyster with the Rev. John S Wilds of the Methodist Church officiating. The Lytles resided in Gouverneur until 1903, at which time they moved to DePeyster. They have spent the intervening 48 years in that village where Mr. Lytle followed the occupation of Carpentry. Mr. and Mrs. Lytle are the parents of three children, John B., Norwood; Mrs William Watson, Glens Falls, and Mrs. Harry Cathey, Detroit, Mich. Mr. Lytle also has a son by a previous marriage, Jesse Lytle of Massena.
