Biography
François was born on 3 May 1836 baptized in Barachois on 8 May 1836. He was the son of Marcellin Léger and Rosalie Dupuis.[1][2] He passed away at age 64 and was interred in Shediac on 3 Oct 1899.[3]
- In the 1871 Census of Canada François was 34 years old and living in Shediac with his father, stepmother and half-siblings. He was registered as being single and working as a seaman.[4]
