Biography

Helene Létourneau (Jean-Paul Létourneau, Paul-Guillaume, Guillaume, Guillaume) was born and baptized on 19 Jan 1800 in Saint-Joseph parish in Beauce, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Jean Paul Letourneau and Marie Jobin. Sponsors at Helene baptism were Pierre Létourneau and Hélène Goulet

At age 25 Hélène Letourneau dite Pollet married Jean Fortin on 4 Oct 1825 in Saint-Joseph parish in Beauce, Bas-Canada. There were seven known children (four daughters and three sons) born into this marriage:
