Hermann was born January 23, 1879 in Meudt, Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland. His parents were David Löwenstein and Malchen (Kahn) Löwenstein.[1]

Hermann married Johanna Grünebaum and they had one child.[1]

Hermann and Johanna emigrated to England.[1]

Hermann died May 24, 1961 in England.[1] His death was registered between April 1, 1961 and June 30, 1961 in Hendon, Middlesex, England.[2]
