Engel Lübbe was born at farm no. 7 in Wessenstedt in 1627 as daughter of farm owner Tönnies Lübbe.[1] On 28 December 1649, she married Michel Hane with whom she had six children. By 1652, her husband had taken over farm no. 5 in Wessenstedt. She died at that farm on 2 April 1666.[2]
