Marie Marguerite was born around 1670. No baptism has been found for her, she is listed as Marie, 10, on 1681 census. Known siblings were baptized in various locations in the Richelieu valley, most of these records state the family was resident of the seigneurie de St-Ours..

Marie Marguerite Ménard married François Gélinaud on 15 May 1687 in Contrecoeur.[2]

Remariée à Luc Deguire dit Larose, fils de François et Marie Rose Colin, vers 1697, à Repentigny ou Contrecoeur. Aucun acte ne survit.[4]

Note: les registres de Contrecoeur, qui desservait la région, sont perdus en grande partie pour la période. Records for Contrecoeur, which served as parish for the area, are lost in large part for the era, due to a fire in 1699.[5]
