Biography

Scholastique Mérand was a minor when she married on 3 Sept 1799, so was born after 3 Sept 1778. No baptism has been found for her. Her parents were resident in Deschambault throughout their married life.[1]

Scholastique appears to have survived her husband, as she is not listed as deceased on his funeral record in 1837, nor is she listed as deceased on her last child's marriage record in 1840. She was listed as residing in La-Baie-du-Febvre on the last few records for her family.[3]
