Grandchild #3 Johannes Peter, age 13, unmarried
According to this census, Johann Heinrich married Anna Margaretha Evels by 1797, and their son Johann Peter was born the following year. Because of the large gap between the birth of Johann Peter and his next child, Anna Margaretha was probably not the mother of any other of his identified children.
In 1834, Johann Heinrich's wife's name was Elisabeth Margaretha. Usually when there are two wives, the name of the mother is listed next to the child's name in the census. That was not done here, and the only son born to his first wife was deceased. By 1834, the oldest child of Johann Heinrich and his second wife was 26, giving him a birth year of 1808. This means his first wife passed away at least by 1807, he remarried, and his second child was born the following year. By 1834, he was the only son to remain living with his mother in the family's home. His two younger brothers had moved to household #40.
