Elizabeth was born about 1802. She is the daughter of William MacDonald and Sarah Hutchinson. [1]
She married James Loveless circa 1820 in Falmouth, Hants Co., Nova Scotia.
She died in 1856 of typhoid fever and is buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Berwick, Kings Co.
The 16 Oct 1856 edition of The Provincial Wesleyan reported: "Very suddenly, on the 7th of Oct., of Typhoid Fever, Elizabeth, wife of Mr. James Loveless, of Scots Bay, Cornwallis, deeply and sincerely regretted by an extensive circle of relatives and friends – who sorrow not without hope."
The inscription on her tombstone reads: "In memory of Elizabeth, wife of James Loveless, who died 7 Oct 1856, aged 54 yrs."
