Biography
Mona Marguerite MacDonald (19 May 1891-1978)
Mona was born in 1891 in Hantsport Nova Scotia. [1][2]
The 1901 Canadian census lists Mona as a 9 yr old (9 May 1891) NS born, Scotch Cdn Baptist adherent living in Hantsport NS [3]
The 1911 Cdn census lists Mona as a 20 yr old born May 1891, single, NS born English Cdn Baptist living in the town of Hantsport NS[4]
Mona before her marriage, c1912, was employed with Wisdom & Son, millinery, Windsor NS.[5]
She was married in 1913 at age 22 in the Hantsport Baptist Church, Hantsport NS to Everett Maitland Smith[6][7]
The 1921 Cdn census lists her as a 30 yr old, married mother of three sons, NS born, English Cdn Baptist , living on Broad St, Dunnville, Ontario. [8]
By 1935 they were living in Woodstock ON and by 1945 living in 145 Delatre St Woodstock ON[9]
Mona died in 1978 and was buried in the Woodstock Baptist Cemetery, Woodstock, Oxford County Municipality, Ontario, Canada, ID218097857[10]
