Biography

Donald “Dan” J MacDonald was born in 1850 in York, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Dan MacDonald and Mary Stewart , his father, Donald, was 36 and his mother, Mary, was 34. He married Nora McLellan on August 2, 1875, in New Brunswick, Canada. They had eight children in 21 years. He died on April 20, 1917, in Brownville, Maine, at the age of 67.
