Taught at Mount Allison University (Sackville, NB), at University of Alberta (Edmonton, AB), and Brandon University (Brandon, MB), where he was the Head of the Department of Economics. He was the author of "The Brandon packers strike; a tragedy of errors" (1971). He never married and left an estate of over $300,000 to Brandon University.
