John (38) married Elizabeth Robertson (17) (born on September 5, 1820 in Tabusintac, Alnwick, Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada; daughter of John Robertson (~1792–~1861) and Mary McCallum (~1797–>1871)) on August 21, 1838 in Alnwick. Their children were:
John died on September 16, 1889 in Tabusintac, Alnwick, aged 89. He was buried in Tabusintac Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac.[1]
