Biography

He is noticed in Ferguson's work[1] in the Marriage Register of the Scots Brigade as being contracted to marry, 17 Jan 1717, Antoinetta Stevenson, stated to be the daughter of Reduced Lieutenant John Stevenson, of General Murray's Regiment.

He is mentioned as being an Ensign in General Murray's Regiment.
