Claude Vernon MacLeod was born on 25th August 1905 at Lucindale, South Australia, Australia. He was a son of Donald MacLeod and Ada Jessie unknown.[1]

He married Nellie Carmichael in 1938 at Bourke. [2]

He passed away on 18th August 1945 at Bourke as a result of wounds received in Papua and New Guinea.[5] [6]
