John McPherson, son of Robert McPherson and Ann McLeod, was born on 17 Oct 1872 in Kenmore, Perthshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.^[1][2]

In the 1881 census John (age 8) was the son of Robt McPherson in Auchloe, Fortingall, Perthshire. He was a Scholar.^[3]

John McPherson's marriage to Jessie Dow was registered in 1897 in Blair Atholl, Perthshire.^[4] He was a Farm Servant living in Tombreck, Pitlochry at the time of his marriage.

He died after 30th September 1927.
