Angus Mor MacQueen , First of Rigg , b. c. 1545. He was the son of Finlay MacQueen , Married Jane, daughter of Donald Dubh Cameron of Lochtel. Before the end of the sixteenth century , the family was firmly established in Rigg, Trotternish, Isle of Skye. Angus mor MacQueen was the first member of the family there and is therefore called the First of Rigg.
