Archibald was born about 1700. He is the son of Rev. Angus MacQueen. He married Florence MacDonald (born about 1730), half-sister of Flora MacDonald with issue:
James MacQueen, 1760-1824
Mary (Polly) MacQueen, married James Strickland, with issue
Annabella (Nepsey) Macqueen, married Mr. Currie; they had one daughter.
Isabelle MacQueen, c.1825. did not marry, died about 1825 In Queensdale, N.C.
Margaret MacQueen, married Duncan MacRae of Anson County, N.C., who became a prosperous farmer they had one son and three daughters. [1]
