Biography

Farquhar Alec MacRae was born in Auckland about 1878. He was the son of Farquhar and Isabella MacRae, who were both born in Scotland.

Farquhar married Ethel Brymner in New Westminster on June 17, 1908^[1]. On their marriage registration, Farquhar's occupation was listed as "Banker".

At the time of the 1921 Canada Census, Farquhar (mistranscribed as "Zongsher"), Ethel, Elizabeth S., and Dyne B. MacRae were listed as living in North Vancouver, British Columbia^[2]. At the time of the census, Farquhar's occupation was listed as "Manager" in a bank.

Farquhar died in North Vancouver on June 9, 1929^[3].
