Kathryn was born in 1891, the daughter of John Donald Macaulay and Kathryn Morrison, [1] both of Scotland. [2]

At the age of 19, she resided in Barre, Vermont where she worked at the City Hospital, [3] and returned to Quebec the following year. [4] By 1920, she was a live-in servant for the Frank Kendall family in Montpelier, Vermont. [5]

She married on 21 Feb 1924 at Burlington, Vermont to Arthur Herman Post [6] and they had children: [7] [8] [9]

  1. Ruth Macauley, b. 06 Mar 1925, never married, d. 11 Jan 2014

  4. John Roderick, b. 26 Aug 1928, never married, d. 07 Feb 1993

After Arthur died in 1961, Kathryn removed to Rochester, New York where she resided (probably with her daughters Ruth and Helen) until she died in 1967. [10] She was buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, Vermont. [11]
