Biography

Catherine (Macdonald) Mackenzie is a member of Clan MacDonald.

Catherine was born in 1816. She is the daughter of Duncan McDonald and Jessie McLean.

When she and Roderick were married he was from Inveralligin and she was still living in Aligin.

The 1851 census shows them living in East Aligin, where Roderick is a fisherman. They have four children. [1]

Catherine's age is given as 90 at her death, which was registered by her son Roderick
