Biography

In some census returns Isabella is given the name Bella, in some she is Bell.

In the 1921 census she is shown as 68, widowed, born in Applecross, and is a vistor in a crofters house in Lochcarron Village belonging to May Kennedy, age 73, married, born in Lochcarron. With them is Jane MacLennan, also a vistor, also born in Applecross. The fourth person is Ann MacLean, age 43 and married, also a vistor, born on the island of Harris.

May Kennedy's occupation is Lodging House Keeper. Isabella is shown as a crofter on her own account. The other two women's occupation s are shown as home duties. [1]
