Abt. 1691 John Macdonell of Leek had a wadset of lands (5/535)
1696 Sir David Thripland, son of Patrick, issued letter of Horning against John Macdonell of Leek for not having paid off the debt. Thus it is made clear that the same John was of Leek in 1692 & 1696
