Biography
Richard was born on the 23rd May 1864. He is the son of Ronald Macdonnell and Jane Rotheram.
In 1885 he was appointed Lieutenant, R Berks Regiment, and Captain in 1894.
On the 14th October 1895 he married Effie Annie Green, second daughter of Major-General Green.[1]
