Biography

When Cammy Jackson Mace was born on February 19, 1919, in Gloster, Louisiana, his father, Thomas, was 35 and his mother, Mary, was 35. He married Alta Mae Biggs in Texas. He died on October 22, 2010, in Palestine, Texas, at the age of 91, and was buried in Caldwell, Texas. Cam was a roughneck who worked the oil fields in Texas. Later, he and wife Alta ran a bait shop along the Texas coast. later still they ran a plant shop in East Texas. They were good, solid citizens, raising two children, a boy and a girl. Cam Mace was a Mason.
