Biography

Edward Machell was born in Westmorland, England.

This Edward Machell is "Edward Machell of Whinfell."

He was born ~1740 to parents John Machell and Alice Wilson, and was one of thirteen siblings.

Edward, aged 25, married Anne Birkett, by bond, on the 26th April 1766. ^[1]

Edward died in 1824, and was buried on the 4th of April 1824, at Grayrigg, Westmorland. ^[2]
