We are wishing to confirm Elizabeth’s parents? Because:
We guess/propose that, Elizabeth is the sister of our Edward Machin born about 1765 ,
This Elizabeth was married to John Morgan in July 1783,
See - Wiki Quick Link - - > 'John Morgan - b about 1760...
Our - Edward Machin [b1765]
See - Wiki Quick Link - - > 'Edward Machin - b1765-d1840 was married to 'Mary Shenston [b1767]...
Edward and Mary were to have four children, including:

Notes on the possible brother to this Elizabeth Machin

Ancestry.Com had a few days of [free] viewing marriage records. I spent some time on the Machin's with just one very interesting development…
This Elizabeth Machin & John Morgan married at St John church Horselydown, on the 19th July 1783 - "The Bann's" indicates that Elizabeth was of the Parish of "St John, Horselydown, Bermondsey, Southwark", and that John Morgan was of the Parish "St Botolph Aldgate"…
If they were around twenty years of age at marriage their birth-dates are about 1763...
We have Our - Edward [married to Mary Shenston] being born about 1765…
The Question is: Is our Edward & this Elizabeth brother & sister?

We further analyse the clues:

An Elizabeth [nee Machin ???] "Morgan", was a witness to Edward & Mary's marriage at St Dunstan's in Stepney…
Edward & Mary's first child was named John "Morgan" Machin and their third being named Elizabeth "Morgan" Machin…
This all looks like a very cosy family to me and it appears that our Elizabeth had a close bond to this [possible brother] our Edward...
This also indicates that the earlier Machin family could have been native to the South London [Bermondsey neighbourhood, -- South of the River] and married with families Morgan, Shenston, and maybe Gregory of London's east end, [Aldgate, St Georges in east, Stepney, etc, -- North of the River]…

Approximate Birth date: equals their Marriage date less 23 years.

NOTE: #2 - Following the Previous Posting:

Assume that this John & Elizabeth were married in their early 20’s this would make Elizabeth’s birth about 1763.

I have my Edward [#1] (Machin- 53) being born at about 1765, very much like sister & brother? · His first male born, son [b1793] is given the name “John Morgan”, Machin and · His first female born, daughter [b1797] is named “Elizabeth Morgon”, Machin. Known siblings to my Edward [#2] Now that is all a bit cosy don’t you think?

The scenario is that our Edward [#1] had this sister Elizabeth who marries John Morgan, some how this Edward becomes indebted to his sister and husband John and names two of his children accordingly… I have not found a solid connection, but I still try… [Peter Patten, as @ Jan 31-2014]

NOTE: #1 -- I am trying to develop and expand my London Machin family:

Last year Ancestry.Com offered us Non Subscribed members, a few days free look at the marriage files. I found an entry for a “John Morgon marrying an Elizabeth Machin” in the parish of Southwark, Horselydown – St John…19th July 1783. The entry has this Elizabeth Machin of Southwark, and this is where my Edward [#2][St George] (Machin-75), Married to Maria Gregory sets up camp and has his ten children…
