The cause of her death was from complications of giving birth.

Elizabeth married Alexander ("Alex") McKAY, son of Donald MACKAY and Jane Gilliban WALKER, in 1885 in Nambucca River (R.D.), Colony of New South Wales.

Alex was born on 6 January 1856 in Dungog, Colony of New South Wales, died on 1 November 1937 in Bowraville, New South Wales, Australia at age 81, and was buried in Argents Hill Cemetery, Argents Hill, New South Wales, Australia.
