Biography

James was born in 1804 to Alexander and Elspet nee Davidson.[1] He married Ann Charles. They immigrated to New Zealand in 1844 aboard the Slains Castle. He was a member of Parliament for Nelson, New Zealand from 1853 to 1855. He passed away in 1875.[2][3]
