Alexander McKenzie married Mary Fleeming in the parish of Logierait, Perthshire on 16 November 1817[1] They had seven sons who survived infancy: Robert, Alexander, Hope Fleming, James, John, Adam and Charles.
Alexander died in Dunkeld, Perthshire on 7 March 1836, and was buried in Logierait Churchyard, Logierait, Perthshire[2].
After Alexander's death, his widow and children emigrated to Canada.[3]
