Biography

Elizabeth Mackey was born about 1859[1].

Elizabeth married David Leahy in 1879[2] and had numerous children.

She passed away in 1923 at South Melbourne, Victoria[3].

A death notice was placed in the paper.:

LEAHY.— On the 16th January, at her residence, 175 Bank-street, South Melbourno, Elizabeth (Bessie), relict of the late David Leahy, loving mother of the late Thomas, late James, Richard, Ada (Mrs. Orr), Lena (Mrs. Reynolds), Millie (Mrs Smith). R.I.P.[4]

Hi Ben, I found this profile via Elizabeth's husband (David's) profile listed in 'wiki/Category:Victoria_Needs_Birth_Source_Researched'. Don't think I've been able to help with sources much. I've retained 1 death certificate, as for the other, Elizabeth would have to marry around 5 years of age. Revamped the list of children into date order (it helps me get an idea of the family better). That's pretty much what you already have on husband (David's) profile. Hope I haven't trampled all over your work.

p.s. Just a thought... You may not need to have all the many newspaper article in son (David's) profile. There are quite a lot. Maybe keep one of the best ones? Perhaps just reference all the other articles you located? Good luck with growing your family tree.
