Biography
He was born at Auburn (now Mackies Crossing). In 1896 he married was Ruth Jobson 13/6/1865 - Feb 1948. They had four sons Charles, John, Oliver and Edgar and a daughter Grace (Mrs N. P. Burges). He was a member of the York Road Board, York Agricultural Society. He died on the family property Riversdale near Mackies Crossing. He is buried in York Cemetery.
