They had at least two more daughters; Ruth Victoria, baptised on 5 November 1901 and Charlotte Skene, baptised on 9 May 1905.
In the UK Census of 1911 he was recorded as a Boarder in the household of William and Margaret Quick at 40 Union Street, Lower Tranmere, Birkenhead, Cheshire. He was aged 41 and married.

He passed away in 1937 and was buried on 31 July 1937 at Sleepyhillock Cemetery, Montrose, Angus, Scotland[2].
